The state of Amazonas, remote and, of course, still with many unexplored corners, houses more rainforest and more indigenous groups than any other place in Brazil. With few exceptions, the jungle is relatively intact and the opportunities to live a fascinating experience observing fauna and flora are abundant. The best way to explore this exuberant region is an expedition by boat and then in one of the jungle hotels or lodges. We can live an authentic interaction with the community, which will guide us on an intimate journey through the endless Amazon rainforest through hiking, nocturnal observation of animals, piranha fishing, visits to communities and tours in canoe rowing by the igarapés and the igapós. In this jungle adventure we will also learn about the regional customs and the different exotic plants and fruits of the region. Going to the Amazon is already a transformative experience, doing it in this way is something that remains for a lifetime.

The Brazilian Ministry of Health recommends that travelers ensure routine immunizations are up to date, particularly for yellow fever, measles, rubella, diphtheria, tetanus, polio, and hepatitis A. The yellow fever vaccine is highly recommended if visiting rural, forested, or Amazonian regions such as Amazonas, Acre, Pará, or the Pantanal. It should be taken at least 10 days before travel to develop full protection.

Brazil can be visited year-round due to its size and diverse climate. Weather and ideal travel seasons vary by region. June to September: Amazon, Pantanal, Bonito, Chapada Diamantina, Minas Gerais, Ilha de Marajó, Ilha Grande, Lençóis Maranhenses, Jericoacoara. This period is the drier season, ideal for wildlife spotting, hiking, and nature-based adventures. Lençóis Maranhenses has its lagoons full during this time. Jericoacoara is popular for wind sports.
